The American Classic VII was a carbon steel precision-milled head, set up at 35” without a shaft band and finished in classic style with a rich, leather wrapped grip. Scotty fell in love with the look of the heel shafted flange putter as a high school golfer. He actually got his hands on one his coach owned and was immediately awed by the putter's design. The putter Scotty saw that day was an 02 model. Although not the most widely-used putter around, its classic lines, look and feel appeal to many golf purists looking for a classic putter with old-school design aesthetics built with today’s finest materials and milling techniques.
